Do you daydream about being a fashion designer? Do you find that you're full of ideas, but when you put your pencil to paper it doesn't quite translate? We can help! Drawing is an invaluable skill that many people struggle with, but in our Fashion Sketching course, you will learn how to share your beautiful designs with the world through this extremely useful skill. In this class, you will learn:· how to sketch figures· how to sketch using colored pencils· how to convey different fabrics and textures· design terminologyPROJECTS: Fashion Sketch BookCOST: $250SUPPLIES: Not included: Sketch book, Mechanical pencils and colored pencils will be needed for class one. Other supplies will be discussed in class. Students encouraged to bring their own sketch book but paper is also fine for the first class. PREREQUISITES: None!DURATION: 4 classes; once a week for 2 hours each (8 hours total) VIRTUAL CLASS RECORDINGS: All virtual classes will be recorded. If you miss a class or need to practice at home you may request the recording and rewatch. Class recordings are only available to students registered for the class and only the speaker will be recorded.
