Description With the return of the comet, the time of the prophecy had come. When the subsequent shooting star fell to earth, King Thorvard Arnulfson called for heroes to find it and bring it back to their homeland. According to the prophecy, if they succeed, the kingdom of Rugia will prosper for many years … but if they fail, a time of great darkness will settle over the land for generations. In this four-part adventure path, the party must venture out across the North Sea on the trail of the fallen star to find their destiny. Sinister foes will attempt to thwart their quest, hoping instead to plunge the land of mortals into an eternal winter. If the party can find allies, perhaps they can overcome this darkness, ensuring that their names will be immortalized in the sagas for many years to come. If the party hopes to succeed, they will need every ounce of courage and resolve within them, for the hand of fate is quite uncaring and very cold. This Norse-themed adventure path is set in the Pax Lexque campaign world, as expanded in Tribes of the North.
